2025 Colas Inc. Solidarity Award
Congratulations to the Barrett Industries Corporate Office for being named the 2025 Colas Inc. Solidarity Award recipient!
The office partnered with Shared Harvest Foodbank in Fairfield, OH, to support two impactful initiatives:
- Food Sorting & Packaging: Employees donated food items by category, boxing them for delivery to families in need by Shared Harvest staff
- Senior Thanksgiving Bags: Donations collected from May through October filled 152 Senior Thanksgiving Bags with food items
2025 Colas Inc. Volunteer of the Year Award
Congratulations to Kathy John (Accounting Assistant, Midland Asphalt Materials) for being named the 2025 Colas Inc. Volunteer of the Year!
Kathy contributed over 1,000 volunteers in 2025 alone. From serving as a Volunteer Firefighter and Carnival Chair, to supporting the John Buck Memorial Foodbank as a volunteer bookkeeper – her dedication to helping others is nothing short of extraordinary.
2025 CSR People’s Choice Award
Congratulations to Upstone Materials for being named the 2025 CSR People’s Choice Award recipients.
On May 3, 2025, Upstone Materials assisted in planting 685 saplings along the banks of a tributary to the Boquet River in Westport, NY. The second part of the restoration project involved installing woody structures along the Brook to mimic the natural work of beavers
2025 6S Golden Dust Pan Award
Congratulations to Barrett Industries for receiving the Golden Dust Pan Award!
This award recognizes sustainability and continuous improvement, and is given to the subsidiary that demonstrates the most sustainability-focused 6S level improvement, as well as clear progression of facilities year over year within the program.
Barrett Industries has also previously won the highly sought after Golden Hammer Award!
